Employment history
July 2001 – September 2003: Sales assistant at Safeway plc. (Full and part time)
Here I learnt to work as part of a team while also using my initiative and scheduling my own priorities. My duties included sorting stock ready for the next day's trade, managing spoilage and distress levels and dealing with customer enquiries. This has helped me to become more organised and be able to respond to deadlines and demands more effectively.
June – September 2005: Student intern at Bluewire Technologies
This was my first real work experience of Computer Science. During my time here, I worked on a number of small projects, the majority of the work relating to software testing. Initially I worked with another student, setting up unit testing for the firm with NUnit and programming a number of tests. I also undertook detailed software testing and bug-fixing.
